As for the Q plate we believe the shell has been bought new and fitted with a sapphire engine and running gear etc (Has receipt to prove this i believe).And as the DVLA couldn't work out an exact year of manufacture (Escort say 93 and sapphire say 91.It automatically goes in a Q plate.
