I am rebuiling a 2.0 zetec at the moment.

I have tried lapping the valves in, the Inlet valves have all gone fine but when doing the exhaust valves I cannot get them to a nice finish, theres still some pitting on them.

Is this going to be ok? does anyone have any pictures of their valves when theys lapped them in?

If i bought new valves would i need new valve seats?
