I think i'm going to snad blast it

The reason i'm swaying towards doing this is if I don't remove the rust it'll come back rain or shine........if I remove it by blasting (and then coat the new metal well) then due to the fact I only plan on running it in the Summer / good weekends then it should last due to not getting wet (in theory).
