Just bought a cheap XR2i track car for the trackdays at Knockhill (and anywhere else I can be bothered to drag the thing)









Needs a good clean up, nothing major, just bits and pieces
Has a standard-ish XR2i engine in it at the moment, exhaust, lowered springs, not sure about the rest of the suspension yet, interior stripped out, bucket seats and harnesses, full cage, 2 sets of pepperpot wheels (1 set of tyres look brand new ),

Bearing in mind this is supposed to be cheap fun (car cost £350 complete) I will probably be looking to put another engine in. Question is, which?

Or would I be better sticking a cam and a set of 40's on it? Is this worth doing on a CVH?
