Does anyone have any experiences of owning/driving Mazda RX7 twin turbos? Seen one that I like a lot and got the insurance go-ahead

It is a 1993 FD3S model with 50k miles and I would be the first UK owner.

So far I know:
Low MPG (15mpg to be expected on a run )
Engines can wear at any time between 40k and 100k
They look coooool as hell

What do they handle like? (as std)
Anything special to look out for?
