Default WHOOOO - the MK1 XR2 turbo is DONE

MASSIVE THANKS GO TO PETER KENNEDY (AKA RUSTY ) for the work he did on the fuel system and a few helpful pointers and a VERY nice price too

MORE THANKS TO TIM JONES, who built this and other projects with me, couldnt have done it without your help m8. owe you plenty of beers

well we got all the little jobs done today which needed doing...

rewire a few things, put fan on a switch, refit dashboard, bleed brakes and adjust handbrake, make bracket for intercooler and fit it, rewire starter with thick cable, sort out bonnet brackets..

then a little test drive

still need to get the exhaust welded up properly as its a home made side exit at the moment and theres not that much ground clearance... and the brakes...

no matter what we do to them, they are just shite

bled a few times and we have a good pedal but you have to use so much force to get them to actually stop, its unreal.. and the pedal sits about an inch lower than the acc and clutch pedals .. bit stuck with this really

apart from that and a setup, its ready for the track

and the best thing its only cost £600 all in

cheap fun

heres a few piccies..

oh, and the 2 litre 16v nissan mcra is getting there now too

gonna be having mucho trackday fun

p.s. whens the next trackday ?
