lots of unburnt fuel coule be:

faulty coolant ECT sensor telling the ecu that the engine is still cold, ie run rich until warm.

injector nozzles clogged causing drops of fuel rather than a fine mist.

faulty map sensor telling the ecu that the car is under load when its not causeing more fuel.

blocked air filter, causing a lack of air so it runs rich.
