Hello,
i want up my car to 500hp and am currently using a 2 wheel drive inlet manifold
Unfortunately the 2wd manifold will only flow around 430bhp (a 4x4 will do around 450bhp), I very much doubt any type of spacer will allow it to flow enough air to make another 70bhp, especially as one of the biggest restrictions (throttle body elbow) is before the actual plenum area itself. An EECIV inlet would probably be a better idea (and possibly work out cheaper if used on its own) as it will flow 500bhp in standard form.
Plenum spacers are really for getting the very last little bits of power/torque, not as a substitute for a good plenum design.
If I were you I would go with an EECIV inlet with a 14mm spacer.
If you are interested in them the prices are:
10mm Thick = £80 including p&p
14mm Thick = £94 including p&p
Lead time is around 5 days from the time of payment (7 days for cheque to clear, or straight away from credit/debit card over the phone).
