my saff cossie has developed an anoying squeeking from the off-side front wheel area. it all started last week when the caliper stuck on i replaced the caliper with a service exchange item which was fine since then i have had a squeeking it was only on right hand corners at first but is now all the time the wierd thing is tho as soon as i touch the brake pedal it stops also when its raining it doesnt squeek! i put a set of rs7s on it about 2 weeks ago but used the correct spacers and i cant see that being the problem. when i jack the car up and spin the wheels it doesnt make the noise? its as if something is catching because its in relation to the speed of the car i.e the faster i go the faster the squeeking gets. i have checked al the wheel bearings for play or noise and there all fine. any ideas anyone??????
