basically it is the same princable as rear spoilers, but if you have a flat floor plan it is far more effective as you are reducing you turbulance flow, and with the correct suspension setup will draw the car to the floor, but as with all down force theories you need to be 80 mph+ for this to be effective, but if anything over 80 mph, imo you need as little drag as possible
