NO it wont cause any damage as the cat is just there to improve fuel comsumption,and convert the unwanted harmful gases into natural ones,anyway if you take the cat off you will see a better throttle response and a more improved flow and may see an extra 5-7bhp with a help of a decent panel filter,not a cone as these will not make any difference in power just give a loud induction roar!!!
