and i've also been severly embaressed by a few Focus RS's round Donington etc,they do go round bends VERY well for FWD.
So to the original question,i'm not so sure.
someone was telling me that when the Focus RS was launched, ford took it to a track day (or someone did) and it was lapping quicker than most of the Escort Cossies.....but aparently the Focus had a proper race driver in it. (not sure if thats true though)
