can you hear a clunk from the engine when you press the air con button ?
Nope,not even a dip in rpm as you would expect.
Air con comes on automatically when your heater knob is set to screen mate, and no, the light doesn't come on. If when you stop the engine the fan is still going then it's a good sign air-con's been on, bit strange!
Which knob? The one that controls the fan or the vent direction? It's a bit shite that tho,you want to demist the screen so the air-con is on,even if the temp is set to hot? WEIRD.
