happened to me a couple of days after i bought my s2... was a prob with the catch, the cable kept catching on a kink in the cable, which held the latch open... everytime i shut the bonnet i made sure the latch on the slam panel was fully closed before i lowered it...

did the same damage, as well as a smashed windscreen


proper scares the shit out of you, trying to slow from 60 whilst lookin through a gap tighter than a nuns ass
