also does anyone know if there is a common problem with the catches/cables on these as i have heard numerous stories of the bonnets opening without warning...

i was only doing about 60mph as well!! glad i werent doing any more as the damage could have been alot worse!! only got away with badly bent bonnet, scuttle panel damage and a cracked left vent...
