Have been looking for cheap flights to Tenerife as my girlfriends Mam has got a place out there but having no luck trying expedia/lastminute/cheapflights etc for the beginning of August. Wanting like £300+ each in the main!

Hoping to travel from Manchester/Liverpool ideally. We're considering just going down to the airpost on the day & waiting for a flight to become available? Anybody done this & if so was it a substantially cheaper option?
