i think i get what you mean abuot the extra functions, hence sometimes it is easier to start from scratch and write your own software rather than spending the time to reverse engineer the standard stuff, ie why pectel wrote their own software to allow certain other functionality that cuold not easilly be found using the oem stuff...?

so is your p8 running coilpack with no extra boards a msd secret for the time being..? does it have the features stu mentions about the secs board, like the active dwell and stuff.?
