Was browsing the Haynes site and came across this book "Ford Parts Interchange Manual".
Unfortunately it doesn't cover cossies, but that gave me an idea.

About about a thread in this forum where we list all the parts our cars might need that we know are common to other more mainstream cars ?

I am sure 4wd cossies have things in common with XR4x4's, eRST's must share parts with normal escorts, etc...

So come on, tell us what you know, and try and be as specific as possible (e.g. 3DR cosworth instead of 2wd cosworth).

For example:
Donor model, year and variant (e.g. GHIA)
compatible with car model, year and variant.
Also state if you THINK or KNOW the parts to be interchangeable.

I'll try and summarise it all in this post to make it easier for everyone.

We might just be able to keep our cars on the road a little longer with this and in some cases avoid paying "RS" tax
