Maria, go drive a few Series 1s first. They are not as friendly as a Series 2 to use as an every day car but I find I enjoy the S1 more than the S2....

Bear in mind the S1 doesn't have PAS or decent brakes unless it's been uprated. They don't drive as nice as a newer car but are enjoyable to drive.....
