Hi John, ive heard a lot of people say that sand blasting isnt the best way to go as it gets into all the seams and thus removes most of the original seam sealer and no matter how much you re apply it doesnt get into the places it originally was and the car starts to rust from the inside out. Its only what Ive been told so not 100%. My friend brett has had his series 1 sand blasted so we will have to wait and see to see if it works out ok or not. As for the kurust my first project car was a mini and I did similar to what you have done, i.e. replace what you can and treat the rest, it lasted about 6 months before it came through again but that could of been my amatuer preperation work (was only 16 at the time). Not really helped you much there but thats been my experiences with the products/techniques you mention. I hope you have some success with it as you've put a hell of alot of effort i already.
