Guys,

Just been to see the bloke entrusted to rebuild my engine today (click the pic in my sig to see the full story). The block will need to be bored and of course all pistons will be replaced with over-sized ones.

My question is - am I likely to see an increase in power from using over-size pistons? Or are they fitted because the block has to be bored and hence a 'bigger' piston is needed.

Excuse my ignorance on this one…not something I've dealt with before!!
