ok the insure ion ya parents name never works unless ya use there no claims and they base it on the highest risk driver and have done for over 5 years

getting to drive other cars on ya licence no place will do it with less than 1 years no claims and most require to be over 25 but some so it at 21 though, but that cant be in your name, the other problem with that is getting it taxed, there are ways round it though

both are not illegal and you wont be fucked if ya have half a brain, these people who state that dont speak from experience but speak from talking to a bloke down the pub, reading about it on the ent or are just talking bollox

ive been using another car ocasionally for comming up to 2 years soon and never had a issue, infact it works great for avoiding totting up points if ya get a person who dont drive anymore and just pay the fine

but at your age for ya own sake as theres no way round this i wouldnt bother, get a nice clean car and build up ya no claims as i hate giving money to the robbing insurance tossers ( no offence ment at you tony, just feel that if i payed 4k for year and i never claimed i should get a 3k refund as im not that shit driver ya was unsure of )

belive the citreon AX is cheep to insure and is quite nippy, tbh big bhp cars are about top speed and not just acceleration too


infact i drive a micra as a runabout at work but ive got access to a murano or a 350z or any other demo car but i use the micra as its more fun in mill hills high street traffic and has a better turning circle
