Ginge you are wrong and greenlight are correct

if you have a policy that allows you to drive any other cars then that car has to be taxed, tested and insured by someone else owner or whatever.

otherwise we would all be driving minis on fully comp policies and driving our cossies arround on it.

if your driving the cossie on your cabrio policy and the cossie is not insured by anyoen else ie your mrs you are not insured.

read the small print.

when i got a producer driving someone elses car i showed my insurance policy and was sent home and told i needed the policy which the car tax was obtained with ie a policy with the car reg on it aswell as my own.
