i have my cold start valve disconnected and it starts fine in the morning,

other way is, wire your boost switch up to it like u say, but on the wires what go to the switch run a on/off switch to your dash and turn it on manually in the morning

the boost switch will still work at pressure, and also being turned on by the dash switch
