I've looked into this and because i play paintball have found that the co2 tanks we use for our guns make great intercooler sprays. Wired up to a boost pressure switch to come on at a certain boost work a treat and very cheap to do plus the co2 looks better when you spray it (looks like nos) and almost freezes the intercooler.
