yer, on a 5mp camera they WILL be huge. You talk about shrinking large photos, these will be fine (ie u might as well set the camera to 1MP for postin on here etc)

where the 5mp comes in handy, is if you want to take a photo of say a family member, you take it on 5mp and go to boots and u can have it blown up stoopid size without losing quality

whereas if you take a 1mp photo into boots, you wont be able to enlarge it very much at all without it going blocky.
