theory is that you should always have more grip on the rear than the front, so most tyre dealers will always make sure if you buy reras you buy fronts too.

As you will probably only use it in the dry though, ignore them, especially as even a wrongly tyred 348 is a pussycat to handle compared to a lairy cossie like you are used to (your T38 one i mean)
