I've said it time and time again to people......although I feel very sorry for you mate....NOONE SHOULD EVER USE FLUX!!!

I ended up almost taking them to court over money due back five years ago and they still have not changed obviously! I know so many people who have had issues with them it's unreal. The more people who complain to the financial ombudsman the better and they'll get shut down.

Still, on the other hand they wont give you your NCB as the policy hasn't run its course probably so if they wont give you the NCB I should ring elephant and demand your money back. You are entitled to rescind the contract within a certain period...usually 7-14 days and quote what you were told by the advisor i.e. that Flux would give you your NCB, which was incorrect information which was the basis of you taking out cover. If they say they didn't say that then ask for the tape to prove it. Most likely, as flux did with me, they say they don't have the tape. In that way they HAVE to give you your money back or the ombudsman will get them to give it to you if you complain to them. HTH
