what doesn't supermarket fuel do that Esso does?
Additives - fuel goes off over time

So as they ship that much its probably higher ron when its at the pump but depending on additives used means if ya run ya car once a week it might not be the same...

Shell optimax has this effect too - but doesnt loose RON as fast as some fuels.

Most high ron fuels are 95 plus additives - esso SUL is 97 RON fuel.
