Craig, the reason I ask was partly to do with what Gareth said. Taking it too easy can glaze the pads up and screw them, the way mine are usually bedded in is to get some heat into them and allow sufficient cooling time between applications.

Remember also, to try not to keep your foot on the brake as you come to a complete stop from high speeds, as this can cause thermal problems with the disks.
