In actual fact it is a software switchable option if its a global multiplier or not.

MOST chips only have the CO enabled for IDLE and LIGHT load adjustments only.

It is hard to say who's chip has what kind of setting.

Generally aim for 2-3% CO as this results in a decent idle.
