Stealth Bomber, of course it is, but if you have a spare, you can do something about it.

it's fact that your car is covered third party in europe on a normal policy. what is normally restricted to a certain number of days, is the cover above the minimum third party - e.g. fire and theft, or fully comp. normally your insurere will give you a minimum of 30 days of that extra cover in Europe, providing that you notify the dates of travel to them.

whether your fully comp insurance will pay out on the 'ring is another matter.
