The gearlever on my Westfield came out the other day when a friend was driving it. He managed to screw the nylon nut back in but since then it has been difficult to find 1st and 2nd gear. Took it apart again last night to check it and I suspect there is a part missing but its so long since I played around with these boxes that I have forgotten how the lever is restricted from going into reverse. Reverse is left and up on the lever. Looking in the hole where the gearlever fits there is a machined slot to the right hand side, should there be a mechanism fitted in here to restrict the lever from going into reverse. Any help appreciated.
