Sorry we couldnt help you over the last couple of years buddy, our new scheme has only just gone live from yesterday and we now have a panel (rather than just one) underwriter covering the scheme.
We piloted last year to gather information and start a track record that would allow us to develop the scheme, we will continue to do this and improve the members scheme as we go. But with a track record in place we were able to add Insurers and strengthen the panel.
Insurance is a legal requirement and nobody likes paying it (even some Insurance people
), but it also protects your pride and joy, plus your pocket if through a momentary lack of judgement you bump into someone, or even worse some muppet steals your car
.
Our approach is different in as much as buying from Greenlight, you are buying from people who understand and are as keen on cars as you. Talking to Greenlight should be like talking to your mates about your car, but also buying Insurance.

Tony, no probs dude. I just a bit gutted as i renewed my insurance two weeks ago
It has started to come down but is still too much for my liking at 1100 fully comp.
Will try you next year if i havent sold it
