Most freshwater fish will vary in colour, which is caused by several things like water condition (PH level, oxygen/bacteria levels), or environment if captive (too many fish in too small an ecosystem) which can lead to diseases like whitespot etc.

Keep an eye on the others and if need be put the fish into a nursery tank and see how it gets on.
