Default Is it best to.............

have your -31 actuator with loads of preload and not as much air bled out the via your bleed valve

or not as much preload, and alot of air bled out via the bleed valve

if u know what i mean, as my turbo is being inspected for possible overspeeding! after it blew up

i have mine as the first one, does it make any difference on turbo life?

its a stage 2, running 21 psi, holding 17-18psi erst

Had the turbo on for 3 months and it blew up the other day, got a new one coming under warranty on tuesday, but universal turbos said that the turbo was overspeeding coz of an air leak?, no air leak on my car, holds boost fine, the only thing i could think of is what i mean with too much preload

cheers
