Default Fuel problems please help!

It never rains it pours with this Fiesta
Ok.. got all the starter problems and electrical problems sorted!
So put it all back together start the car up and surprise surprise it started up and sounded great.. then I smelt fuel
Turned the engine off and looked under the car and there was a massive puddle of petrol, it was pissing out from the rubber pipe between the metal lines under the car and the plastic pipes from the pump, even thou it was all connected.
So today I replaced all the connecting pipes and put new clips on from Ford. I then turned the ignition on and the fuel pumped whirled away etc but I could hear a hissing, so turned off the ignition and checked under the car to see no leaks etc so I checked under the engine and the fuel filter was fine but petrol was pissing out of the top of one of the injectors!!
So took the inlet etc off pulled off the injector and the o-ring had a very slight split so changed that and put it all back together and the primed the fuel pump again and the petrol had stopped pissing out of the injectors but was pissing out from under the car again!!
Have I got a fuel pressure problem? how does the fuel system work in the sense of should it be returning to the petrol tank? Its almost as if the fuel pump is too powerful for the fuel lines? Should the fuel pressure be constant even with the engine off? any suggestions?
