Default Mk2 XR2 - TB's Sold - New Engine Soon

A little update

Been a while since I got anything done to this, (but haven't just had my thumb up my arse), my bro's Golf has been done, compeltely gutted out the garage, and just generally enjoying her as she was, done a few shows this year as well.

Came home from work today to find my bro was getting stuck into fitting my 40's, so got changed and we got stuck in.

Pics showing where we mounted the fuel pump and regulator, the holes that we mounted the fuel pump onto where there already, so no need to drill the shell

What happens when you get a gasket and you find out it's the wrong one? Sit down and cry and wait till the next day like a ringstabbing cumbucket? No, you make one! (And it's All Bran, so it's a healthy gasket ) Bodge It Extrordinare! My mate Chris was given this job.

My bro's chrome rocker cover from his Mk3 XR3 shell which was in the garage (and has been for 5 years) was nicked, given a coat of AutoGlym metal polish, and voila, BLING!

A little vid of the 40's just ticking over

So that was it tonight. While I'm at work tomorrow, my bro is gonna get the cam in and sort a few little niggly bits, so all systems go! 8)
