Best way to check is to undo one of the injector pipes on top of the fuel distributor and see if fuel comes out of there when you turn the car over. I know the injectors open up when a certain pressure is hit. If that pressure isn't there the injectors will stay closed.

If there's hardly any fuel there. Try pressing the paddle down slightly when turning the car over to see if its any better. Could be down to a blocked airfilter etc.
