Sometimes my lights won't come on!

After changing the bulbs, checking the connections we have found it to be in the fuse box where the relay is for the lights! You have to wiggle the headlight relay about for it to work again!

At the minute I have jammed a bit of cardboard between that relay and another one to keep them on!

Have tried cleaning the contacts, have tried a new relay!

What else could it be? IT is a series 2 escort on A G plate
