Well folks its about time i thanked each and every one of you for making PassionFord what it is today...

We opened our forums on 22nd May last year on a bit of a whim as a place for myself, Petrucci and a few friends to get together and chat after a popular forum closed its doors and left us "Virtually Homeless"

Who would have ever believed we would come so far so fast?
It seems like years ago to me that we had to close the doors due to aggravation and a pure lack of funds available to keep the server online with the traffic it was generating... Petrucci and I were gutted beyond belief until in an amazing post over on RSBB our faith in human nature was restored and you guys started offering to contribute to the costs involved yourself!! That was the turning point for us i guess.. we knew then that we had all achieved something special, something worth saving after all!!

Well.. that date was 20th October 2003, led by the first contribution to PF from Gareth EscCos less than 1 year ago and look how far we have come!! Many many more of you have contributed to our costs which has allowed us to maintain this server and line for almost year. For all those newbies that dont know, our financial contributors nearly all (Some opted not to) wear the "GOLD PF MEMBER" logo in place of a rankingabove their avatar.

But more shocking than that is the amount of data served!!

So thanks guys for helping to make PassionFord what it is today, your help is much appreciated as if it wasnt for your financial support, this forum would no longer exist.

A big Big thanks go out to all our advertisers too of course as their banners and memberships also help to pay for bandwidth and equiptment too. Hopefully you guys are getting something back as well as a further incentive to renew your advertising banners with us when your year is up.
Just in case you guys missed the banner stats topic this month, heres the latest banner stats taken today, its great to see that many of your banners have exceeded 1.2 MILLION page impressions now

Last but not least, many thanks to our beloved moderators who take their spare time and devote tons of it to the thankless task of keeping PF a decent place to be... you would never believe how much aggro and abuse this unpaid task involves, its truly shocking, so thanks to you all, past and of course ever present

Hopefully PF's performance is back up to speed now after that lapse for apparently a couple of weeks last month

Finally, for anyone whos wondering, i noticed today that there are often 100+ guests viewing our forum whom obviously appear as non existant so i made a quick mod to change the rules so they have to log in before they can read the forums. It doesnt take long and it gives you users a better representation of how many are viewing a particular forum at any one time......
