was driving along this morning and the engine managment light come on and there was a a knocking noise coming from under the bonnet...

took my car to a garage and they said that the crank and the con rods are gone....

they said it would cost me £1400 to get it back on the road....

any ideas of what i could do?? i was thinking of putting a 1.7 puma engine in...

my car is a 2000 ford fiesta zetec s

any advice or info would be grately recieved
