you wont really need the solids unless you have an excellent head that allows the ZVH to rev past around 7k. mine will pull 8200 rpm and has solids, they are better for high revs but need regular checks/maintenaince. and as above will need a cam to suit the lifters profile/size.

not that you'd change lifters without cam anyway would you
