typical cvh problem, the starter motor suffers from all the heat coming off of the manifold and exhaust. Only way to sort it is to either buy or make a heat shield to protect the starter motor from all this heat. That or do what i did, take off the starter motor and re-build it, giving it a good clean up and plenty of wd. Hasnt given me any hassle since
