Yea im kinda agreeing with Daz on this one, the temp sensor i replaced when i did my last rebuild so its deff not that, and it didnt make a difference with or without the stat in so cant really be related to that, and for the gauge to be in the red i would expext the header tank to be slightly warm and it wasnt Only thing i can think is theres no/not enuff water getting to the head causing it to get hot as quick as it is as obviously thats where the temp sensor is, anyone else agree?! gotta get the rad looked at anyway cos of the leaks The water pump i replaced bout 2000miles ago too so shouldnt be that.
