Could be a faulty temperature gauge, when I first got mine it ran in the red I changed everything and the previous owner had even wired a switch in to allow the fans to be switched on as it seemed to run so hot, after changing everything I could think of I got hold of a second hand temperature gauge and problem solved! It ran in the 'norm' where it should, turned out to be a dodgy gauge.
