PMSL Thanks Mike.
It was a brilliant weekend, obviously knackering too,

but well worth the loss of sleep for. I have been involved in racing for a long time but never a 24hr race so when i was able to help out i jumped at the chance, MIMS are a great team so it was a real priviledge to be involved with them thanks to Gareth. It's a hell of an acheivement to finish, never mind so high up the order, especially in those conditions. The last pit stop and stint was very tense in particular as there was a hell of a battle going on for 2nd.
Gareth did an outstanding drive, especially when he was out on slicks when a rain storm hit, very scary at the 'ring when that happens, lots of cars crashed out trying to make it back to the pits that time. The works Opel team next pit to us looked like a battle zone in particular with 3 new front ends being patched together to keep them running after so many crashes.
If you get the chance, go see the race, it's an amazing sight to see 230 cars start a race! Think of Le Mans and add thousands of german sausage eaters on bitburger for 4 days and you get the idea what the spectator areas look like.
