cold air+petrol=excellent firing,
warm air +petrol=better atomising,
the cooler the air ,the more dense the mixture,me thinks a cool air flow is in order+a heat sheild for my k+n
juss like when you drive,the warm air is pushed out of the bay through the bonnet slats,if you block em for your k+n rain protection,you should have a seperate air feed to compensate,complete with its own water drain!,so,if you place your pipe low down,the rain splashes will drip away,but if you go through a puddle youll drink the water in and hydraulic your engine
