i know this post will be deleted, but ill say it anyway,,,
i really dont know why ford dont like the fact there may be the odd copy of their parts software knocking about that will run on a normal pc, but hey what's the worst that can happen, people order the CORRECT bits from ford instead of the bit that the guy on the parts counter thinks it is,
the guy at my local dealer didnt even know the differnece between an rst and a escos the other week, "yeh, tha'll be the 5th injector for coldstart sticking open making it run rich"
its not like its much use for anything else,
a similar thing is with honeywell, they software key encrypt their programming software (care) with a (70 to the power 26) number code FFS, and what can yuo do when it works,,,, nothing other than program honeywell controllers, and what do you do when its working, go and buy a controller from honeywell!!
i know there is copywrite laws etc ect, but some times it just doesn't make common sence when the legal eagles get on their high horse
