my draper kit has sorted me out. that combined with all my dads old stuff he left when he moved out!
imperial sockets are always handy.
espicially the 1/2 inch as not all 13mm bolts are a perfect 13. often the 1/2 inch fits and avoids the chance of rounding it off.
britool make the best spanners i rekon. but thats coz i work with engineers who are 60 and have had 1 set of britool spanners all their working life and they still look perfect condition. and that aint coz i work with a lazy bunch of fookers (even though i do) its coz britool make quality gear.
as long as it dont say made in china on it your ok.
english stuff is the best, and german aint half bad either.
the draper expert rnage is good though. i got a set of alen keys and torx bits for not a lot of money which is really handy as it has stumpy bits and long reach ones.
12 sided sockets are often better as well. rather than the 6 sides ones. but that down to preference. i find that if u need to wack a smaller socket on a dodgy nut then 12 sided is best.
thats y i never throw away old tools as u never know when u will need them
